Privacy Policy

Introduction

This policy describes the implementation of Athanasia Wiki at athanasia.site, an independent fan site. You do not need an account to read the site, and this version does not provide account registration, checkout, comments, or a contact submission form.

Information processed

Our hosting provider may process technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver pages and maintain security. The site does not include analytics scripts, advertising scripts, or a tracking pixel.

If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message, address, and any information you choose to include. Please avoid sending passwords, payment information, or other sensitive details.

Theme preference and local storage

The default appearance follows your browser color preference. If you choose a light or dark theme, the athanasia-theme preference is stored locally in your browser. Choosing system mode removes that saved preference. This value is not sent to us by application code.

Embedded video and external services

Screenshots and the trailer cover are served as local files. YouTube is contacted only after you select play; the trailer then loads in an embedded player using youtube-nocookie.com. The provider may process your IP address, device information, and playback interactions under its own policies.

Following an external link takes you to a separate service, such as Steam or YouTube. That service has its own privacy practices.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell or rent personal information. Hosting and email providers may process the technical or message data described above. Any correspondence is retained only as needed to address the request or meet applicable obligations; there is no user account database in this site.

Your choices

You can clear the saved theme preference in your browser, return the theme control to system mode, and browse without activating embedded video. You may email us to ask about information you have supplied or request its correction or deletion, subject to applicable requirements.

Security and younger visitors

No transmission or storage method is completely secure. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from them. The game includes violence and blood; this statement does not assert an unverified age rating.

Changes and contact

This policy may change as site functionality changes. The date shown on this page identifies the latest revision. For questions, contact contact@athanasia.site.
